The Civil Concept was created by Kaitlynn Dodge to highlight grassroots activities taking place to make a difference in Canadian communities. Kaitlynn Dodge is a graduate student at Humber College taking the public relations certificate. She has been involved in community initiatives since she was young and continues to find new and innovative ways to bring people in her community together.  She had received many awards including the Ontario Junior Citizen Award in 2003. She was recently a semi-finalist on the hit CBC show Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister. Kaitlynn looks forward to working with communities to improve their quality of life and to invigorate participation within civil society.
